As of 31^st July 2009, IHVN has staff strength of 216 in country, comprising local and international faculty members cutting across different disciplines. There are Medical Doctors, Laboratory Scientists, Nurses/Midwives, Community Health Experts, IT and Strategic Information experts including seasoned administrators and communicators working in different departments and units, which include:

In addition, IHVN has a sound financial system with International Auditing firms carrying out annual audits of all funds while accounting staff are made of Nigerian and U.S. certified personnel. There is a Central Administrative Headquarters in Abuja with five Regional Offices in the different geopolitical zones of the country:

• North-West Region – Kano
• North-Central & North-East Region – Jos
• South-East & South-South Region – Benin
• South-West Region – Lagos
• Federal Capital Territory Region (FCT) – FCT

The Institute also has five regional clinical/laboratory training centers and a national TB training center at:

• Plateau State Virology Research Center (PLASVIREC) – Jos
• University of Benin Teaching Hospital – Benin
• Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital – Kano
• Asokoro Laboratory Training Center – Asokoro, Abuja
• National TB & Leprosy Training Center – Zaria

It has warehouses in Abuja, Benin, Lagos, Jos and Kano to provide excellent commodity & logistics support for all its programs in-country.
