Tunde A. Alabi has taught in the Department of Sociology at the University of Lagos, Nigeria for over eight years. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sociology at the University of Lagos. He proceeded to the University of Cape Town for his PhD degree. His PhD investigated the experiences of Nigerian migrants in the United States and United Kingdom with a focus on health and employment. Tunde’s current research interests are at the intersection of population health, migration and crime studies. Tunde is the current managing editor of the Unilag Sociological Review.
