Mrs. Comfort Amina Ochigbo is the Lead for Prevention and Key Populations at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN), where she oversees targeted prevention programs and enhances healthcare access for vulnerable populations.
Mrs. Ochigbo is a seasoned public health professional with over 20 years of experience advancing health initiatives in Nigeria. She has successfully led critical programs, including the Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) Saturation Plan and the Local Government Area (LGA) Saturation Treatment Plan in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC). Mrs. Ochigbo has also directed impactful prevention intervention programs, aiming to improve community health outcomes and reduce HIV/AIDS prevalence.
She is a graduate of the Galilee International Management Institute, holds a certificate in Leadership and Management from the University of Washington, and has specialized training in Health Economics from the University of Washington. Her dedication to public health and extensive program management experience continue to drive meaningful progress in the fight against HIV/AIDS across Nigeria.
