Jinadu Adetutu O. Oversees the community case management programme at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN). She plans and coordinates community interventions to improve the well-being of children, adolescents living with HIV and HIV exposed infants.
She works with community care coordinators to assess, monitor and provide referral services to vulnerable children and households. Her role also includes partnering with government at all levels and with community structures to mobilize support for identifying HIV cases among children and adolescents.
Adetutu supervises the activities of community-based organizations and faith-based organizations in four states to provide care services of health and nutrition, mental health and psychosocial support. Her work also guides activities to equip households to be resilient and fosters health, safety, schooling and stability of children.
She has certifications in child protection, gender, quality improvement, HIV/AIDS Prevention and Palliative Care, Adolescent Girls and Young Women, Psychosocial support and child protection.
Adetutu is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, Lagos State and Covenant University in Ogun State where she gained a master’s degree in public and international Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in international relations respectively. She also has a Diploma in Health and Social Care from the London Professional Training Center.
She has more than 10 years of experience in community care and support services for the vulnerable. Her hobbies are exploring new places and relaxing vibes with soothing music.
