As the Director of Strategic Information for the USAID TB-LON 3 project, Engr. Michael Pedro is responsible for monitoring, evaluation, analytics, and reporting of performance and results of the project. He leads efforts to ensure accurate and timely performance reporting for project activities, promotes health system strengthening activities at all levels and collaborates with the Government of Nigeria agencies to conduct monitoring, evaluation and learning activities.
Engr. Michael Pedro is a seasoned professional with 15 years of leadership and managerial experience in delivering high-quality data, strategic health information, data management, research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and project management. He has worked on large, complex international and local projects funded by USAID, the Global Fund, CDC, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Government of Nigeria.
Michael excels in developing robust analytical M&E systems, identifying and solving problems, and leading teams. His intersectoral communication skills continue to drive health systems change and advance development results.
He has a B.Sc. in Systems Engineering and Masters in Business Administration (Production Specialization) both from the prestigious University of Lagos, Lagos State Nigeria.
